Textil Béjar invests 25 million in the only factory of sanitary nitrile gloves in Europe

The parent company of Mascarillas Béjar is committed to independence from Asian producers. The new factory, located in Lisbon, has a production capacity of 400 million gloves per month

Masks Béjar is the beginning of the ambitious project Béjar Textile. A revolutionary concept that includes the production of all the textiles that the customer needs for the global and complete fight against Covid and similar contagious infectious diseases.

With factories in Spain (Béjar) and Portugal (Lisbon), the ICW Holding's objective is that Europe does not depend on Asian manufacturers for everything concerning basic sanitary textiles and to offer products on the world market with the guarantee and quality of manufacturing in Europe. For this reason, ICW Holding reinforces its commitment to sanitary textiles by invest 25 million euros in the only sanitary nitrile glove factory in Europe.

The new factory, based in Lisbon, has four production lines for nitrile gloves from the Bailixin Machinery brand (the best manufacturing lines in the world) with a production capacity of 400 million gloves per month and with the ambitious goal of doubling current production and reaching 2021 million before the end of 800 in its facilities of more than 15,000 m2. Thus, it provides a new factory with quality controls and the most advanced technology, which, to date, only the Asian market had available, at a crucial moment of the pandemic and with what this means for the economy.
